Volunteer Recruitment Information Session
The Harn Museum has two new volunteer opportunities, so it’s an exciting time to join the team. Participate in educational programs in-house and out in the community that introduce new visitors to the museum and the joy of experiencing great works of art. Join us for this brief information session to learn about the activities, responsibilities and training program for these two new roles:
Early Learning Program Volunteer – Be a part of this new program to bring Head Start and Kindergarten students on a museum field trip. Work with museum educators and docents to welcome young visitors, prepare the museum classroom, and assist children with art-making activities.
Art for Life Volunteer – Join this successful outreach program for senior citizens who are unable to visit the museum. Art for Life volunteers work in teams to present and discuss works of art from the Harn collection and to make connections with participants’ past experiences and memories.
For questions about these volunteer opportunities or the information session, please contact Brandi Breslin, firstname.lastname@example.org or 294-7060.
