Museum Nights: Monet to Matisse will transport visitors to the rebellious, impressionist French art movement of late 19th-century France. Mini, university student-led interactive tours of French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850 – 1950 will be offered. This evening will not only celebrate the Harn’s current blockbuster exhibition, but the museum’s 35th Anniversary. Visitors will delight in refreshments, live music by Hot Club de Ville, meet and greet with Albert and Alberta and paint their own impressionist wine or juice glass (while supplies last). Campus and community partner booths include the Alliance Française de Gainesville and UF Center for European Studies.
The Harn is collecting food for the Bread of the Mighty food bank. Bring an item to our Museum Nights event and help others in need. Accepted items are canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal, granola bars, fruit cups, applesauce, juice, cooking oils and paper products. Bins are located in the galleria entry area at the Harn.
Generous support for Art After Dark is provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program and a private grant.

Museum Nights are also sponsored by UF Student Government and the Office of the Provost.
