Join Dr. Jillian Hernandez, author and UF professor for a talk in Posing Beauty in African American Culture from 7pm – 7:45 pm. The talk will feature her book, “Aesthetics of Excess: The Art and Politics of Black and Latina Embodiment.” Hernandez will be signing copies of her book following the talk. They are available for purchase in the Harn Museum Store.
The Harn will be open until 9 pm. Browse our galleries and stop in to the Camellia Court Café for a bite to eat, glass of wine or dessert until 8 pm.
