Join us for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic/LatinX/Latine heritage. Immerse yourself in a night filled with rich cultural experience, art, and student organizations that highlight the traditions that shape these dynamic communities. Exhibitions featuring Latin American Art include Metamorphosis, Windows and Mirrors, In Our Time and a special installation in Highlights from the Modern Collection. Create a weaving mural inspired by Latin American art and decorate terra cotta pots to celebrate Latin American heritage, values and artforms with the Harn MUSEs (Museum University Student Educators.) Register to vote with Alachua County Supervisor of Elections and take an Art Blast Tour.
At 6:30 pm Gator Salsa will provide an evening of Cuban salsa and bachata with a showcase, dance class and social dancing. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome.
