Art After Dark (Date Changed to October 17)
Museum Nights: Celebrating Indigenous People's Week
Thursday, October 17
6:00 – 9:00 pm
Due to Hurricane Milton, this Museum Nights, originally scheduled for October 10, was moved a week later to Thursday, October 17.
“Indigeneity” is word expressing the many ways in which an indigenous person’s identity links them to specific knowledge. It also expresses how everyone can learn from the rich array of traditions, histories and practices of native peoples. In celebration of Indigenous People’s Week, the Harn invites the community to reflect on Indigenous history by listening to story times, experiencing Native American dancing and art making activities. Add to your Thursday Night with the Harn’s Art After Dark | Museum Nights!
Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program, and a private grant.
Museum Nights are also sponsored by UF Student Government and the Office of the Provost.
