Art After Dark | Museum Nights

In connection with the City of Gainesville’s recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day and other programs across the university, the Harn is proud to partner with Indigenous and Native collaborators across the city and campus. Join us for Museum Nights, celebrating the contributions and heritage of Native Americans and Indigenous Peoples of the Americas. Guests can participate in hands-on art activities and meet guest artists. The highlight for the evening is a dance demonstration led by powwow performer Duane Whitehorse (Kiowa), followed by a conversation led by students. 

In collaboration with: The Indigenous People’s Task Force, Indigenous American Student Association (ISA), Gator Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), George Smathers Libraries, UF School of Theatre and Dance, UF American Indian and Indigenous Studies.
