This lecture will open a window onto the fascinating cultural, religious, and material world of Himalayan art. Presented by Dr. Elena Pakhoutova, Senior Curator of Himalayan Art at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York, the talk will bring together cross-disciplinary perspectives to explore the rich history and diverse tradition of visual narratives in Himalayan art. The lecture is hosted in conjunction with the exhibition Gateway to Himalayan Art at the Harn Museum and is free and open to the public.
