The Harn Museum of Art has more than 45 employees in a variety of positions that include accounting, curatorial, conservation, development, education, marketing, information technology, human resources, guest services, merchandising, security and maintenance. Because the Harn Museum is a university-affiliated art museum, the University of Florida serves as the employer. Under the supervision of the Senior Registrar, the Registrar for Exhibitions and Loans serves as the primary contact with lending institutions and individuals for designated loan exhibitions and individual loans. This person is the primary department liaison with the curatorial department to help organize and implement exhibition planning. A special characteristic of the position is the ability to plan and move several different exhibitions along through various stages of planning and implementation simultaneously.
