The Harn Museum of Art has more than 50 employees in a variety of positions that include accounting, curatorial, conservation, development, education, marketing, information technology, human resources, guest services, merchandising, security and maintenance. Because the Harn Museum is a university-affiliated art museum, the University of Florida serves as the employer. Preparator and Installation Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Registrar, the Preparator and Installation Coordinator works with Registrars of Exhibitions and Loans and other preparation staff to plan for and implement exhibition change-outs. The Preparator and Installation Coordinator also assists with care and maintenance of permanent collection and loaned artwork as required.

Financial and Accounting Analyst

The Financial & Accounting Analyst has responsibility for fiscal matters for the Harn Museum of Art, providing training and guidance to museum staff in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, expenditures, receipts, and entrepreneurial activities. This includes management of the budget process, cash flow management and full responsibility for financial reporting. This position also supervises the activities of the Finance Office, managing the staff and their activities, reviewing processes, and promoting efficiency and streamlining activities where appropriate. In collaboration with the Director of Finance and Operations and the Museum Director, the Financial Analyst III develops, coordinates and implements fiscal policy for the Harn Museum of Art. This individual is responsible for maintaining accounting systems for all state, grant, auxiliary and foundation funds.
