The Harn Museum of Art has more than 50 employees in a variety of positions that include accounting, curatorial, conservation, development, education, marketing, information technology, human resources, guest services, merchandising, security and maintenance. Because the Harn Museum is a university-affiliated art museum, the University of Florida serves as the employer. Financial Analyst III

In collaboration with the Director of Finance and Operations, this position is responsible for the coordination of all financial activities. The Financial Analyst III manages the museum’s budget process, which includes working with staff to prepare the museum’s annual operating and capital budgets. A highlight of responsibilities include analysis in spending projections for current and future fiscal periods, monitoring departmental and overall museum budgets, and analyzing financials reports.

OPS Security & Visitor Engagement Assistant 

The OPS Security & Visitor Engagement Assistant will ensure a safe, welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff of the museum, including the reporting of non-compliance with museum policies. This position plays an important role as the face of the museum to the public by providing excellent customer service including relaying general information and directional guidance to guests. Security responsibilities include patrol of galleries and public spaces and opening and closing of the museum.

Holiday Security & Visitor Engagement Assistant  

The Holiday Security & Visitor Engagement Assistant is a part time position taking place from November 2021 to January 2022. Candidates must be flexible and able to meet changing time commitments. This position will ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors and staff of the museum, including the reporting of non-compliance with museum policies. The Holiday Security & Visitor Engagement Assistant serves as the face of the museum to the public by providing excellent customer service including relaying general information and directional guidance to guests. Security responsibilities will also be assigned as needed.
