In conjunction with the Harn’s 25th Anniversary celebration, NEXUS: Experimental Photography in Florida - Uelsmann, Fichter, Prince, Streetman & Walker takes a look at the long, prosperous careers of five key members of the UF Photography Department Faculty during the 1960s and 70s. It explores the innovative imagery produced by Robert Fichter, Doug Prince, Evon Streetman, Jerry Uelsmann and Todd Walker. Together they generated a distinctive, exciting “nexus” that drew a generation of photographers to UF to study alternative, expressive forms of photography. NEXUS also celebrates these photographers’ work to the present.
