Outreach Programs

Art for Life

The Art for Life outreach program is intended for senior audiences who may no longer be able to visit the museum in person, but still desire to learn about and interact in meaningful ways with the visual arts.

Specially trained docents will visit Senior Residential Communities, Assisted Living Centers, and Nursing Facilities to present an engaging and interactive program focused on works of art in the Harn’s collection.

Twelve unique programs are available to choose from, so senior centers may schedule multiple Art for Life visits throughout the year.  At least four weeks advance notice is required to schedule a program. Community + School Outreach

Community organizations, including schools, serving individuals who are unable to visit the museum may schedule an outreach program at their location. Museum staff or volunteers will visit with age and ability appropriate materials to share the Harn’s collections through discussion and hands-on activities.
