Sandra Ramos (b. 1969, Havana, Cuba) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes painting, drawing, installation and video art. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2021 and is currently a visiting professor at Florida International University.
Her work has been featured in major international exhibitions, including the Cuban Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale (2013) and multiple editions of the Havana Biennale. Recent solo exhibitions include Entropydoscopes at the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami (2023), and Both Sides Now at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, Harvard University (2022). Ramos’s work has also been included in group exhibitions, such as Navigating the Waves: Contemporary Cuban Photography at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2025), What We Leave Behind at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, University of Oregon (2023), and You Know Who You Are: Recent Acquisitions of Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection (2022).
